The TYGER

The first production of CHOREOS “The TYGER” under the direction of Lutermann will premiere on 31. August 2017. With some contemporary musical versions of the famous poems “The Tyger” und “The Lamb” of the british poet William Blake (1757-1827) the debut program of CHOREOS has gotten its exciting shape. To examine the tension between the antagonist tiger and lamb and relate it to our humanity is the approach of this hour-long production. This cosmos will be complemented by further masterpieces of scandinavian composers. The choral works of Sven-David Sandström, Tommy B. Andersson, Emil Raberg e.g. offer the ensemble fantastic opportunities to show the whole scope of dynamic and emotions. The scenic realization by choreografer Lars Scheibner visualizes the atmospharic sounds of CHOREOS into thrilling images. The legendary Technoclub Berghain in Berlin in a former cogeneration plant features an eyecatching scenery with its mixture of concrete, steel and lether in up 18 meter high halls for the 2017s production of CHOREOS, “The TYGER”.
